The misuse of antibiotics has led to antibacterial resistance because the bacteria has learned to adapt over time and turn into "super bugs". These super bugs are the biggest threat to antibiotics, they are bacteria that change so antibiotics can't kill them. Without the use of antibiotics or any other medicine not being able to kill this bacteria, it will continue to be harmful to humans.
